This composite system is a transporter that can transport TPA into the C.elegans cell. It use tripartite tricarboxylate transporter(TTT) family protein to transport.It also use tphC, a kind of substrate-binding protein (SBP) to binds TPA and enables tpiA, tpiB to transport TPA into the cell. The signal peptides can direct the location of the protein. We use this transporter system to transport TPA into the Intestinal cell of C.elegans.
